This piece has everything from splashing effects to dance-like child’s play. The climax has an easy to play whole tone scale hand-over-hand style leading to a dramatic high note. The staccatos are light and graceful but lots of fun. The use of the pentatonic scale and open fifths lends an Asian quality to the style.
